What is the Truth?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

The truth of the Gospel is beautifully simple yet profoundly powerful: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). By believing in Jesus and confessing Him as Lord, we are promised eternal life and a restored relationship with God (Romans 10:9-10). This is the truth that sets us free—Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6

How do I accept Christ as my savior?

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 3:23

Accepting Jesus as your Savior is a personal decision that begins with acknowledging your need for Him. First, recognize that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness (Romans 3:23). Then, believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead, offering you eternal life (Romans 10:9). Confess your faith in Jesus openly, inviting Him into your life as Lord and Savior. Pray sincerely, asking Jesus to forgive your sins, cleanse you, and guide you in a new life committed to Him. The Bible assures us that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Through this simple act of faith, you become a child of God and begin a lifelong journey of growing in His love and grace.

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:13

What does this all mean?

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 1:26

Living a life for Christ means stepping into a new identity as a beloved child of God, filled with purpose and hope. This transformation brings a deep sense of fulfillment because you are now connected to our Creator (Genesis 1:26), who guides your steps and empowers you to live out His will. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus, you’ll experience His peace, joy, and love in ways that surpass understanding (Philippians 4:7). Serving others, sharing the Gospel, and walking in obedience to God’s Word bring a profound sense of purpose and satisfaction, as you’re living out the destiny God has planned for you (Ephesians 2:10). This new life is not without challenges, but even in difficulties, you can rejoice, knowing that God is with you, strengthening you, and using every circumstance for your growth and His glory (Romans 8:28).

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28
