There is a sure fire way to determine if its Spring time in Columbia SC; everything is yellow… Spring is a wonderful time of year for many of our families. Most of us see the light at the end of the tunnel for the School year which obviously means vacation season. Others are beginning spring sports, hobbies and everyones favorite yard work. What dawned on me the other day in a conversation during a weekly hospital visit was the pace of how the season seem to change nowadays. Obviously I am not that old, but I am certainly old enough to realize that times seems to be moving faster and faster with every passing season. What the Holy Spirit whispered in my mind that afternoon wasn’t just to “press on” as hurriedly as I can to the next season and what it has in store, but rather to enjoy the moments I’m having here and now because tomorrow will be here soon enough.
