Equipping Parents

Parenting is hard. I have this thought every day. We, as parents, are faced with countless decisions on how to raise our children. There are so many things to know; so many things we are supposed to teach our children, in hopes that when they leave our homes they are productive members of the society. But there is a bigger goal here! I want more than that for my three children. I want them to not only JUST be productive members of the society; I want them to be passionate about the things of God. I want them to crave God’s Word, proclaim it, and have a far-reaching impact in this world for Christ. It is also our responsibility to teach them basics on being independent (I mean, I love them, but I don’t want them living in my house forever- I have big dreams with my retirement!). I have been working on some tips that will help parents help nurture the Spiritual development of their preschoolers. On January 29th , I will be discussing how to use the 7 devotions of Trinity (Worship, Prayer, Sharing, Discipling, Ministry and Fellowship, and Serving) to help grow your child’s love for Christ at an early age. Using the tools that Pastor Eddie has geared for our adult church members, we can grow our preschoolers’ faith in simple ways that can easily be incorporated in our family atmosphere. Come find out how! If you have specific requests on this topics please send me an email. Also, we will have preschool child care available if you let me know how many to prepare for.

Come join me on this faith walk for your family. You’ll be glad you came!
